Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications for outpatients at Medical Village Pharmacy. You will support inventory control, third‑party billing, and coordination of hospice and offsite services, while delivering compassionate patient care.

Under supervision, you will handle prescription filling, documentation, and customer interactions, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent GED.
• PTCB or NHA certification.
• BOP Registration in state where work is being performed per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer phone in a timely and courteous manner while complying with HIPPA.
• Greet customers and assist with their needs upon entry to the pharmacy.
• Oversee expiration dates and keep the area organized following the 5S principles.
• Assist with ordering and delivery process from wholesalers and inventory management.
• Support Discharge Medication Delivery Service and Immunization programs.
