Mercyhealth is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to head a dynamic retail pharmacy operation focused on patient care, service, and operational excellence. You will empower staff, supervise daily operations, oversee financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy experience as a practicing pharmacist.

Responsabilités

• Organizes retail pharmacy activities to ensure quality service.
• Interviewing, hiring, orientation schedules, discipline and counseling of technical staff.
• Works with Lead Pharmacist on annual evaluations of technicians and cashiers.
• Encourages ongoing education and tracks said for all staff.
• Compiles daily financial data for monthly reporting to accounting and monitors financial performance.
• Responsible for departmental fiscal planning, purchasing of supplies, and budgeting.
• Implementation of new retail pharmacy startups and business expansion, as necessary.
• Development and implementation of policies and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Works to assure customer satisfaction and provides service recovery when necessary.
• Schedules regular department meetings and completes all appropriate reports in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with hospital pharmacy as appropriate.
