Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction is launching a new outpatient pharmacy and seeks an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support daily operations and shape workflows and patient care standards.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to ensure safe, seamless care and a compassionate patient experience in a growing program.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and license required in state of practice.
• Immunization certification if applicable to site needs.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for allergy interactions and therapy adequacy; intervenes to optimize use.
• Oversees preparation and delivery of medications to care areas.
• Provides counseling and medication education to patients; promotes adherence.
• Supervises interns, technicians, and support staff; provides clinical consultation.
• Drives problem solving around equipment, supply availability, and patient care concerns.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
