Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital to participate in clinical programs, optimize medication therapy, and ensure safe, cost-effective care.

You will educate staff and serve as a preceptor to students and residents, collaborating with healthcare teams to advance patient outcomes. Responsibilities include MTM, medication education, regulatory compliance, and participating in program initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required).
• Advanced pharmacy degree – Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters, Residency (preferred).
• Licensure to practice pharmacy in state(s) where employed and active BLS/Immunization credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication reviews and therapy management to ensure safe, effective use of medications.
• Participate in clinical programs to improve patient care and optimize therapy.
• Maintain order processing and support pharmacy operations for timely medication availability.
• Engage in cost-containment efforts and appropriate resource use.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services.
