Advocate Health in High Point, NC seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation: Physical Therapy Elm team. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri with potential Saturday coverage. Competitive hourly pay between $38.20 and $57.30 depending on qualifications and experience.

You will assess and treat patients, document evaluations and progress in accordance with standards, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A B.S./M.S./D.P.T.

Formación

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional and according to the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate documentation. Completes written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
• Ensures that documentation is legible.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards. Understands the budgeted expectations.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and provides representation on committees.
• Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines.
