Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance, and/or Customer Service strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, and proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Database management required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for outpatients and maintain accurate appointment records.
• Collect and verify demographic and financial data for patients entering the system.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits via online eligibility or telephone inquiries.
• Obtain signatures and required forms, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and assist with collection goals and cash logs.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items as required, ensuring timely communication.
