Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, and proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Database management required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and collect demographic and financial data, ensuring accurate entry into the database.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits using online eligibility or telephone inquiries.
• Obtain signatures and required forms, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Receive payments and issue receipts, contribute to collection goals, and maintain cash funds/verification logs.
• Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and patient identification items as required.
