Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of experience in Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance, and/or Customer Service preferred.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Verify demographic and financial data and enter into the database.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits using online eligibility or calls.
• Obtain signatures and information on required forms, maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Receive payments and issue receipts, contributing to collection goals.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items as required.
