Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Stoneham, MA, is seeking a full-time Nurse for the Ophthalmology Outpatient Clinics. The role includes assisting with laser and injection procedures and triage via EPIC, working with physicians and ophthalmic technicians, under nursing leadership.

The position is 40 hours per week on a day shift at the Stoneham outpatient clinic, with responsibilities to interpret care plans, assess nursing decisions, and ensure safe, competent nursing care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) state license required
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
• Knowledgeable of practical nursing principles and skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills and confidentiality awareness
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
