Responsibilities include reviewing orders, participating in emergency management, and coordinating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes in a hospital setting.

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluating literature and designing therapy regimens.

• Designs, monitors and evaluates patient-specific regimens from biomedical literature.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Participates in management of medical emergencies when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities; reports events as needed.
• Ensures formulary adherence and assists with non-formulary and investigational medications.
• Prepares, dispenses, and oversees proper storage and handling of medications.
• Acts as preceptor for pharmacy students and residents; mentors staff as assigned.
