Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level RN for the Outpatient CAP 1 track. You will coordinate care for an assigned group of dialysis patients, document assessments, and contribute to quality improvements within the ESKD care team.

The role emphasizes teaching, planning, and collaboration with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians to ensure safe dialysis delivery and patient education. A path to CAP advancement is provided based on program requirements.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Current state licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance.
• Document patient data during dialysis and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care basics.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis care with the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and document outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in training.
