Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track as part of our Clinical Advancement Program. The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, with collaboration from the care team.

The role involves education for patients and families, documentation, medication administration per protocol, and participation in staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients under supervision.
• Document data and adjust the nursing care plan with Interdisciplinary Team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor patient care staff and participate in orientation.
