Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. The role involves coordinated nephrology care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group under supervision.

As part of the ESKD team, you will engage in education, quality improvement and clinical leadership activities while maintaining licensure and CPR/BLS requirements. Travel to training sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state where employed.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Provide patient/family education on learning needs and care plans.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document effects.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
