Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient settings.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven ability to document clinical information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
• Record vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry.
• Document medical histories and allergies in the EHR.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, glucose testing, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient positioning.
• Administer medications and injections per protocol.
• Support appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
• Conduct follow-up calls per clinic protocols.
• Maintain stocked examination rooms and supplies.
