Midwest Express Clinic on the Chicago West Side is seeking an enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced outpatient team. You will greet patients, obtain vitals and history, document in the EMR, and support providers during visits.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, performing blood draws, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as permitted; registering patients, verifying insurance, handling phones, scheduling visits, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of outpatient clinical experience
• Friendly, polished, professional presence
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Flexibility to support varying clinic schedules and locations
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Coachable and eager to grow

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients warmly and create a great first impression
• Room patients, obtain vitals and medical history, document accurately within the EMR, and support providers during visits
• Perform blood draws, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as permitted
• Register patients, support insurance verification, answer phones, schedule visits, and collect payments
• Keep documentation accurate and organized within the EMR
