Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision and care. You will ensure optimal positioning, compression, labeling, and image quality while maintaining MQSA compliance.

You will interact with anxious patients, explain procedures clearly, and mentor students, contributing to a collaborative radiology team committed to high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography (M) required.
• Valid state radiologic technologist license current (where applicable).
• Current BLS certification.
• MQSA compliant — 15 breast CEUs every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling before finalizing exams.
• Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, HIPAA standards and facility protocols.
• Mentor students and guide junior staff when rotation occurs.
