Job summary

Kaiser Riverside facility is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide patient care in an outpatient surgical/vascular setting. You will work under supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider, transcribe orders, administer medications, and assist with assessments and treatments, maintaining policy compliance and patient safety.

Ideal candidates hold a California LVN license with at least 12 months of recent direct patient care, and a High School Diploma or GED, plus Basic Life Support

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve (12) months LVN direct patient care experience within the last three years.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Transcribe orders and assist with plan of care development.
• Administer medications according to orders and policy.
• Support examination and treatment by preparing instruments and assisting staff.
• Document care in health records and ensure patient confidentiality.
