Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Riverside Med Center is seeking an LVN for outpatient care in the Head and Neck clinic. You will provide nursing care under supervision of a RN or physician, support treatment plans, and ensure safe, compassionate patient interactions in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities include administering meds per orders, assisting with exams, documenting in Health Connect, and helping coordinate discharge and care gap closure. Weekend and holiday rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months LVN direct patient care experience within the last three years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of RN or physician/APP.
• Transcribe orders and follow policy.
• Administer medications per orders and standing orders.
• Assist with examinations and treatments; support care plans.
• Document patient condition and care in Health Connect.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety practices.
• Coordinate discharge processes and care gaps.
