Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is assisting a well-established, physician-led group with locations across Long Island to hire an Internal Medicine Physician for 100% outpatient care. Compensation is $300K-$500K per year with flexible hours, Monday–Friday, and no on-call requirements.

You will perform history and physicals, order labs, create treatment plans, document in the EMR, and collaborate with care teams while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide key clinical care as a primary physician in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and communicate diagnoses and options clearly.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to nursing and support staff.
• Stay compliant with relevant guidelines (HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS).
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
• Contribute to sustainable patient panel growth.
