6 Degrees Search seeks an Internal Medicine Physician for a physician-led group with 100% outpatient care across Long Island. Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, no call, and a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction and collaborative care.

The role offers leadership opportunities within a growing practice, population health initiatives, and a competitive package ranging from $300,000 to $500,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits. Office-based, with locations throughout Long Island.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Active or eligible New York State license.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a practice.
• Familiarity with EMR and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care as a key clinical provider.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical exams.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, options, and prevention.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to staff.
• Ensure HIPAA and NYS DOH compliance.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
• Contribute to developing a sustainable patient panel.
