Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is assisting a well-established physician-led group on Long Island to hire an Internal Medicine Physician.

This 100% outpatient practice offers a flexible schedule, Monday–Friday, with no on-call requirements and a compensation range of $300K–$500K per year. The physician will serve as a primary clinical provider, performing comprehensive histories and exams, ordering labs, and developing individualized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for NY State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care as a key provider.
• Perform comprehensive history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Supervise nurses and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to developing a sustainable patient panel.
