Ideal candidates will hold an ADN, Kentucky RN license, BLS, and oncology certifications, with ongoing professional development in crisis prevention and chemotherapy/biotherapy competencies.

Qualifications

• ADN nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Kentucky RN license.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ONS and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required before completion of orientation.
• Oncology Certified Nurse required within two years of hire.
• Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Plan, assess, intervene, and evaluate care with an outcomes-focused approach.
• Document care provided and outcomes; review care quality and adherence to standards.
• Apply evidence-based practices and professional standards in bedside care.
• Prioritize care based on changing patient assessments and needs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians and other hospital departments.
