Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Infusion / Cancer Care Center. This PRN role provides direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge with varying shifts.

Requirements include ADN, KY RN license, BLS within 90 days, ONS and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certifications before orientation, and Oncology Certified Nurse within two years. Crisis Prevention must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS) and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required before orientation.
• Oncology Certified Nurse within two years of hire.
• Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Plan, assess, intervene, and evaluate care with an outcome-focused approach.
• Review and document care provided and outcomes.
• Follow professional standards of care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrate prioritization of care based on changing assessments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians and other departments.
