Job summary

Baptist Health in Paducah, KY is seeking an experienced RN for chemo/infusion to join our patient care team. The role supports prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care, while teaching patients and families and promoting professional standards in the clinical setting.

The RN will collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to create a positive customer service environment and ensure high-quality care during 40-hour weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of patient needs
• Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision;
• establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care;
• assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems;
• and performs technical aspects of care competently.
