Job summary

You will assist with admissions, discharges, vital signs and infection control, while coordinating with licensed staff. Responsibilities include timely reporting, nutrition communication, and supporting department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet one of the listed CNA/technician credential options.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports patient concerns to the RN immediately.
• Assists RN with admission, transfer, discharge and general care tasks.
• Records vital signs and supports personal hygiene and comfort.
• Assists in specimen collection and other patient activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment to prevent infections.
• Reports equipment issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Communicates nutrition concerns to the RN.
• Assists department with administrative tasks.
• Answers call bells and relays messages.
