Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet one of the following: nationally certified patient care technician; WVUM Patient Care Technician program; current CNA certification in the state where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient concerns/changes to a registered nurse.
• Assist RN with admission, transfer, discharge, and general patient care duties.
• Record vital signs and assist with personal hygiene and patient comfort measures.
