Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a well-established, physician-led group with 100% outpatient care on Long Island. Flexible hours, Monday-Friday, no call, and highly competitive compensation ($300K-$500K per year) with full benefits.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, collaboration with care teams, and ongoing quality improvement in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow and manage a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient internal medicine care.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostics.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to staff and nurses.
• Ensure HIPAA and NYS DOH compliance.
