Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in a dialysis setting.

The position requires nursing licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to work with a healthcare team. Mentoring and leadership opportunities within the CAP will support professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform data collection and documentation in the patient medical record and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Direct daily provision of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Participate in education, training and quality improvement activities.
