Job summary

UPMC Central Pa is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing endocrinology team across multiple clinics in South Central Pennsylvania. The role focuses on outpatient endocrinology with support for inpatient endocrine care and diabetes technology including insulin pumps and CGM devices.

You will lead diagnostic and treatment efforts for endocrine disorders, develop thyroid services, and collaborate with infusion and osteoporosis programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in outpatient settings.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for patients with diabetes using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand advanced thyroid services including office-based ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
