UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania seeks an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing team providing comprehensive outpatient endocrine care. You will diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, support inpatient teams, and utilize diabetes technologies such as insulin pumps and CGM.

The role emphasizes expanding thyroid services with ultrasound/biopsy, osteoporosis initiatives, and involvement in clinical research, within a physician-led health system offering strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Fellowship trained in endocrinology and board-certified in internal medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Provide consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for patients with diabetes using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Expand advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures.
• Collaborate with an infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture-prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
