Job summary

UPMC Central Pa seeks an endocrinologist to lead outpatient care across a comprehensive diabetes and thyroid program. The role emphasizes collaboration with inpatient teams and expanding advanced thyroid services, including ultrasound and biopsy, with access to insulin pumps and CGM technologies.

You will participate in osteoporosis initiatives and clinical research, contributing to program development within a growing regional endocrine network.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for diabetes using insulin pumps and CGM tech.
• Develop and expand advanced thyroid services including office ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
