Job summary

UPMC Central Pa is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing outpatient endocrinology team in South Central Pennsylvania. The role focuses on diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis, and menopause management with inpatient consultative support.

You will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders, utilize insulin pumps and CGM, perform office thyroid ultrasound and biopsy procedures, and contribute to clinical research and program development.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
• Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply

• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting
• Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team
• Caring for patients with diabetes utilizing advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices
• Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures
• Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
• Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives
• Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development
