Job summary

UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing team across clinics. The role emphasizes comprehensive outpatient endocrinology, diabetes management with pumps and CGM, and advanced thyroid services with ultrasound and biopsy capabilities.

You will diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, support inpatient consults, collaborate with infusion center, and contribute to research and program development.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in outpatient setting.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Caring for diabetes utilizing insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop advanced thyroid services, including office ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
