Job summary

UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania is recruiting an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the region. You will diagnose and manage outpatient endocrine disorders, support inpatient consults, and care for diabetes with insulin pumps and CGM, and advance thyroid services with ultrasound and biopsy.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Endocrinology Fellowship completed.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in outpatient settings.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for diabetes patients using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand advanced thyroid services including ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
