UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania seeks an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing endocrine team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient settings. The role includes diabetes management with pumps and CGM, thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, and collaboration with inpatient teams.

Qualificações

• Board Certification in Endocrinology or eligibility.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility.
• Completion of Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in outpatient settings.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for patients with diabetes utilizing insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand advanced thyroid services including office ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
