Fresenius Medical Care in Glendale Heights, IL is hiring an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 program. This role focuses on coordinated patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation within the ESKD care team.

You'll rotate through duties under supervision, with dialysis training provided and opportunities for CAP advancement. A strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork is essential, as is flexibility to work Mon-Sat, 4am-9pm, with 5-8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision and guidance.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in medical records.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and dialysis.
• Delivers safe, effective hemodialysis in collaboration with the care team.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
