Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program to provide and coordinate care for dialysis patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and technicians.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will contribute to teaching, leadership, and quality improvements while adhering to policies and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with nephrology exposure preferred.
• Provides and coordinates nursing care for dialysis patients.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in medical records.
• Delivers education to patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Administers medications per physician orders and approved algorithms.
• Leads and mentors staff as assigned and participates in quality improvement.
