Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program in Minneapolis. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group under supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, patient and family education, safe delivery of therapy, medication administration, emergency response, and collaboration with the care team to improve

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties under supervision and guidance.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document changes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and options.
• Deliver safe, effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to emergencies.
