Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. You will provide comprehensive nursing care during hemodialysis, coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, and participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities include data collection, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective dialysis therapy and patient outcomes at our outpatient facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.
• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis during hemodialysis, document in medical records, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care needs, treatments, and modality options in collaboration with the care team.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with direct and ancillary staff.
• Administer medications per orders or approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
