Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Kentucky invites an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program CAP 1 within the outpatient dialysis setting. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, patient education, safe delivery of therapy, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Performs ongoing data collection and analysis during hemodialysis and documents in medical records.
• Educates patients and families, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe delivery of dialysis therapy.
