Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Richmond is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the outpatient CAP1 program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with supervision from experienced RNs and educators.

You will document patient data, participate in care planning, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in state of employment.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties under supervision for assigned patients.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis sessions.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure safe dialysis delivery.
• Document assessments, plans, and interventions.
• Respond to emergencies and support staff training.
