Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Lexington, KY, is seeking an entry-level RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for dialysis patients, with supervision from leaders and educators.

You will participate in education, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives. The position offers full-time hours at 1610 Leestown Rd, with tuition reimbursement for dialysis training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements for employed position.
• Entry level RN with <2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data collection and documentation for hemodialysis patients; adjust treatment plan under supervision and notify appropriate team members.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and disease management.
• Direct and coordinate daily delivery of safe hemodialysis therapy with care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
