Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced RN for the Outpatient RN CAP 2 track in its nephrology/hemodialysis program. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients within the ESKD care team, including coordination with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and patient care technicians.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, current RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with entry-level experience in nephrology nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current or active.
• Minimum of 2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning and evaluation.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans with team input.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and options.
• Lead and mentor other care staff as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure safety and quality in hemodialysis delivery and labs as required.
