Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate high-quality nephrology care within our End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) program. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care and may delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and patient care technicians.

You will participate in continuing education and quality initiatives. The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current state RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide/co-ordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform data collection and documentation for dialysis patients.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Direct and supervise daily delivery of hemodialysis therapy with care staff.
