Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join the Clinical Advancement Program in California. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Techs.

This role emphasizes teaching, leadership, and quality improvement within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, with CAP requirements to maintain or advance. Entry-level candidates meeting RN CAP 2 criteria are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN CAP 2 status with qualification criteria.
• Must have current RN licensure and CPR/BLS.
• Experience in nephrology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for assigned group.
• Coordinate care with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Provide education to patients and families on dialysis and treatment options.
• Support area leadership and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Participate in CAP requirements to advance.
