Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Fort Walton Beach, FL, seeks an RN CAP 2 for outpatient care within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, assesses, plans, and evaluates for an assigned patient group, and may delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification; entry-level RN with at least 2 years nephrology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level RN with minimum 2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and collaborate with the care team.
• Assess, document, and adjust care plans during hemodialysis treatments.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments.
• Ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy and administer medications as prescribed.
• Participate in education and quality improvement activities.
