Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 in Florida to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. The role involves coordinating care, assessing patients, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes for dialysis patients under supervision.

You may supervise techs and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. The position emphasizes patient education, adherence to policy, and participation in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with minimum 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• RN CAP 2 eligibility and clinical competence required.
• Current state licensure per state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians as needed.
• Perform hemodialysis-related nursing duties under supervision and guidance.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Document nursing assessments and plans of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities within the facility.
