Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent dialysis care. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group under supervision.

You may delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians while contributing to patient education and safety. Qualified candidates will be inpatient in the Fresenius Kidney Care system with a nursing degree, active RN license, and current CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure as an RN.
• CPR/BLS Certification must be current or successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Coordinate care with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Provide patient/family education on dialysis and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and education projects.
