Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced RN CAP 2 for outpatient nephrology care, focusing on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for a fixed patient group. You will oversee a team including LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to deliver safe hemodialysis therapy and coordinate care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification; entry-level CAP 2 eligibility is noted along with CAP advancement

Qualifications

• RN with nephrology nursing experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during dialysis.
• Coordinate care with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.
• Document data in patient records and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and safety initiatives.
