Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 role. You will contribute to assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients with ESKD, collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

You will participate in education, team leadership, and quality improvement activities while adhering to policy and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties under supervision and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor, or RN team.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust the plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis and coordinate with care staff.
